Over the next few weeks and months we aim to introduce you to members of staff from both Fonthill and Lakeside. We thought we would start with me! My name is Nick, and I spend my time getting in the way at both centres.

My first job at the garden centre was as a ‘Trolley Boy’ when I was about 10 or 11. Finishing school I went to Writtle College to study Amenity Horticulture after which I found myself a job at Wyevale Garden Centre in Taunton. Dad offered me a job in 1997 at Lakeside, since then time has just flown.

Our team are important to us and we are proud to call Lakeside and Fonthill a ‘family run business’. As well as keeping busy at both centres I will also be regularly updating Nick’s Blog, a round up of events and news from Lakeside and Fonthill. See you soon!
